Stayed in Neufchateau and wrote 4 stories for mailing. (These may include the two mailed stories dated May 10 and one dated May 12, all published in the New York Herald on June 16, which are included in the posts on May 8, May 9 and May 12.)
Also made arrangements to go to British front for a week if permission to cable is furnished. Spent hour or so around the club in the afternoon and in the evening sat around for 3 hours with a crowd of about a dozen, one being Wilson of the International News [Service]. [Henri] Bezin has resigned from the [Philadelphia] Evening Ledger.
